It connects an observed problem with the factors, patterns, or conditions that help explain it. Where supported, Why can also show the estimated financial impact of the problem.
What you see
Each Why answer contains a concise Pulse answer that explains the current finding.
A Why answer typically tells you:
- what factor or pattern is associated with the problem,
- how it relates to the observed result,
- why the relationship matters to the business,
- and, where it can be estimated reliably, the financial impact.
Unlike Where, which identifies where a problem appears, Why tells you why it happens.
Reviewing Why answers
There can be multiple Why answers available at the same time. Use the navigation controls to move and review the subsequent answers. The answer position indicator shows which answer you are currently viewing.
