Brainstorming lets you discuss the current Pulse answer in a contextual chat.
It uses the current Answer as context, allowing you to ask follow-up questions, request clarification, or explore related ideas without leaving the answer you are reviewing.
Brainstorming is available from Where, Why, and What.
Opening Brainstorming
Select Brainstorming from the current answer to open the chat.
The Brainstorming panel opens over the current content. It is not a separate Pulse screen and remains connected to the answer you are currently reviewing.
Messages from you and Pulse are visually distinguished, and each message shows when it was sent.
What you can ask
You can use Brainstorming to:
- ask for clarification about the current answer,
- explore the current answer or explanation in more detail,
- ask follow-up questions,
- discuss possible implications,
- or explore ideas related to the current answer.
Because the conversation is based on the current answer, you do not need to repeat all of its context in your question.
Using Brainstorming with Where, Why, and What
The purpose of the conversation depends on the answer you are reviewing.
In Where, you can use Brainstorming to explore a finding or better understand the area where Pulse has identified a problem or opportunity.
In Why, you can ask questions about the factors, patterns, or conditions behind the problem.
In What, you can explore the proposed Improvement Action, ask for clarification, or discuss the action before deciding whether to accept or reject it.
Closing Brainstorming
Select anywhere outside the chat to close the Brainstorming panel to return to the answer you were reviewing.
