Pulse uses a simple navigation structure that lets you move between the three main areas of the application and explore additional information related to the current answer.
Note
When you return to Pulse, the application opens on the screen where you left off.
Main navigation
The main navigation is located at the bottom of the application.
It provides access to:
- Where identifies where you are losing money.
- Why explains why you are losing money.
- What tells you what you can do to prevent it.
Select any of these areas to move between them.
Moving between answers
Each area can contain multiple answers. Use the navigation controls to move between them.
The position indicator shows which answer you are currently viewing, for example 1 / 7.
Note
Where, Why, and What contain separate sets of answers. When answers are related, moving between these areas opens the corresponding linked answer where available.
Related information and tools
In addition to the main view, you can open related views for the current answer.
Answer
Answer shows the main Pulse response for the current answer.
It is intended to give you the key information in a concise form.
Evidence
Evidence provides more detailed supporting information related to the current answer.
Depending on the analysis, this can include supporting observations, comparisons, time periods, baselines, confidence information, and details behind financial estimates.
Select Answer to return to the main view.
Opportunity
When viewing an Improvement Action in What, an Opportunity view may also be available.
Use it to review the opportunity related to the current Improvement Action.
Brainstorming
Brainstorming opens a conversation with Pulse about the current answer.
You can use it to ask follow-up questions, request clarification, or explore possible ideas related to what Pulse has identified.
Select anywhere outside the chat area to return to the main view.
Main menu
Select the hamburger icon in the top-right corner to open the main menu and access additional application options.
